This Is The Rumored WrestleMania 34 Card As Of Right Now

WWE Network

Can you feel it? It’s the Road to WrestleMania, baby! The most exciting time of the year to be a pro wrestling fan. WrestleMania 34 hits New Orleans on Sunday, April 8, and there is already a whopping one match that’s confirmed for the show following the Royal Rumble.

There will be POTENTIAL SPOILERS in a couple of paragraphs here, so if you don’t want yourself to be POTENTIALLY SPOILED, you should look away now, and probably avoid clicking on things with “WrestleMania” and “rumor” in the headline for the next couple of months. At the same time, please keep in mind that these are also just RUMORS for the time being, so if you DO read on, you might want to take them with a grain or several of salt.

What we HAVE known for a while is that one of the top matches at this year’s Mania, thought to be carved in absolute stone, is Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. There are also obviously big plans in mind for Ronda Rousey, although those aren’t as clear.

So with the two top world title matches seemingly locked in, where does that leave the rest of the card?

According to a report in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer shared what he is told is the current direction for the majority of this year’s WrestleMania card. There is AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship, of course, and Reigns vs. Lesnar.

Meltzer also claims that the stage is set for Undertaker vs. Cena to finally happen, unless Taker happens to back out. Given Cena is in the Elimination Chamber match, WWE would not be able to begin building to Taker vs. Cena until late February. He also hears that Kurt Angle could be a partner for Rousey in a mixed tag team match against the Authority, as Angle vs. Triple H was a storyline they were strongly hinting at around Survivor Series.

The latest plan for the two women’s championships is supposedly Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax on the Raw side, and Asuka challenging Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. And there is the possibility of two battle royals (presumably a men’s and a women’s) to get everyone on the main roster onto the show. A potential match between Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan is iffy at the moment due to a reported injury for Jordan. Finally, there is rumored to be a Miz vs. Braun Strowman Intercontinental Championship match.

So, according to the Observer, the WrestleMania 34 card looks like this at the moment:

1. WWE Universal Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns
2. WWE Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
3. Undertaker vs. John Cena
4. Ronda Rousey and TBD vs. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H
5. Raw Women’s Championship Match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax
6. Smackdown Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Asuka
7. Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs. Braun Strowman
8. Seth Rollins vs. Jason Jordan
9. The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
10. Second battle royal
