Here Are The Complete NXT Taping Spoilers For October 13, 2016

On Thursday night, the Yellow Brand held their latest batch of television tapings at Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida. Please be aware that everything you read in the subsequent paragraphs is an actual, massive, legitimate spoiler for what will happen over the next several weeks of NXT television.You may read on only at your own risk. But if you’re the sort of person who just simply cannot wait until next week to find out what happens next, congratulations! This post is for you!

These tapings should take NXT television all the way up to NXT TakeOver: Toronto in November.

Results from the 10/13/16 NXT tapings:


1. Oney Lorcan defeated Wesley Blake. This was a possible dark match.

2. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: No Way Jose and Rich Swann defeated Tony Nese and Drew Gulak. No Way Jose hit his finisher on Gulak for the pin.

3. Bobby Roode defeated Sean Maluta.

— After the match, Roode cut a promo on Tye Dillinger. Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger was made official for NXT TakeOver: Toronto. Dillinger ran out and he and Roode brawled, with Dillinger getting the upper hand.

— Liv Morgan was delivering a backstage promo when she was attacked by Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. They fought out onto the stage, where Billie and Peyton left Liv laying, then said they were putting all the other women in NXT on notice.

— Austin Aries’ tag team partner was revealed as Roderick Strong, making his NXT debut.

4. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: Austin Aries and Roderick Strong defeated Tucker Knight and Otis Bogojevic. Nico Bogojevic was announced as “Otis” for this match. Aries hit a rolling elbow, then Strong hit Death By Roderick and the Sick Kick for the pin.

5. Danielle Kamela defeated Nikki Cross. The Sanity member won the match, but she beat down Kamela after the bell for so long that the decision was overturned and Cross took a disqualification loss.

— Shinsuke Nakamura came to the ring and started talking about his Toronto title match against Joe, when Patrick Clark came to ringside and challenged Nakamura to a match. Nakamura took Clark out immediately without a match. Samoa Joe came to ringside, but stayed out of the ring as the two men stared each other down. Nakamura hit a Kinshasa on Clark while the refs were helping him up.

6. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeated HoHo Lun and Tian Bing.

7. Aliyah defeated Billie Kay. Liv Morgan came to ringside during the match and starting attacking Peyton Royce on the outside, allowing Aliyah to roll up Billie for the upset win.

— After the match, Aliyah and Liv brawled with Billie and Peyton, but got laid out by the heels.

8. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: Kota Ibushi and TJ Perkins defeated Lince Dorado and Mustafa Ali. TJP got Ali to tap out to the kneebar in the final first-round match of the tournament.

9. Asuka defeated Thea Trinidad.

— After Asuka’s victory, William Regal announced that at NXT TakeOver: Toronto, Asuka will be facing Mickie James for the NXT Women’s Championship.

10. Tye Dillinger defeated Noah Potjes. Dillinger won by pinfall after the Tye Breaker.

— After the match, Jim Rome was interviewing Dillinger on the stage when Tye was jumped from behind by Bobby Roode. Roode hit Dillinger with the Glorious Bomb on the stage.

11. Ember Moon defeated Rachel Evers. Moon won a quick match with the Moon Shot.

— Revival vs. DIY was set to start, but Scott Dawson came out on crutches. He says he’s suffered a severe knee injury, but he’ll be fine. At the advice of his doctors, the Revival is pulling out of the Dusty Classic. He said that they are saving DIY from embarrassment and are giving them a gift to the second round.

— Before DIY can leave, The Authors of Pain run out and attack them. Gargano and Ciampa manage to run them off.

12. Elias Samson defeated Nathan Cruz. This was a squash match for the returning Drifter, who sang on the way to the ring.

13. Liv Morgan defeats Peyton Royce. Morgan won by DQ when Billie Kay jumped in the ring.

— After the match, Aliyah tries to make the save but gets beat down. Ember Moon comes out and saves Liv by taking out Billie and Peyton.

14. Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Cedric Alexander.

— Nakamura and Joe had their contract signing for Toronto. Nakamura was in the ring with a table, surrounded by security. Joe had a separate table at the top of the ramp. Regal took the contract to Joe and he signed, then Regal took the contract to Nakamura. Instead of signing, Nakamura began attacking the security guards. He powerbombed the last security guard through the contract signing table, then signed the contract and stared Joe down from inside the ring.

15. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 2 Match: Sanity (Sawyer Fulton and Alexander Wolfe) defeated Kota Ibushi and TJ Perkins. Ibushi hit his powerbomb, but the referee was distracted by Nikki Cross and Eric Young. Ibushi took the pin in this one after Sanity’s suplex/powerslam double-team finisher.

— After the match, in what was reportedly a dark segment, Sanity returned to the ring to continue the beatdown on Ibushi and TJP, but Nakamura ran in and took out all of Sanity.
