Shoes. This is a story about people trying to trample other people over a pair of shoes that costs $170. However, I guess it’s a tale as old as time, as people lined up in the most disorderly fashion at a mall in East Columbus so they could get their hands on the new Air Jordans. But the best part of this story is that after this mob busted through the automatic doors and knocked them completely off their hinges, forcing the security officers to call in the local police for reinforcements, they were only rushing to the Champs store so they could get a voucher for shoes.
The actual Air Jordans won’t even be in until next week, so hopefully their old sneakers can hold up for the time being, while they’re being used to destroy other property.
