We’ve known about Rock Band 4 since March, but now we finally have an idea about some new tunes. Video game company Harmonix has just announced 10 new songs that people will be able to play on Rock Band 4, which is available for pre-order (both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions).
The new songs include offerings from Arctic Monkeys and Soundgarden, as well as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones ’90s classic, “The Impression That I Get,” a song that I can’t really stand when I hear it on the radio, but which would seem fun in this context (I’d also love to take a stab at Cake’s “Short Skirt/Long Jacket”).
Harmonix also announced that players can buy Rock Band 4 in a bundle with the Legacy Game Controller Adapter, which will enable people to use previous generation Rock Band instruments, as well as an excessive amount of controllers. So, I guess fans won’t have to shell out more money for new video game instruments.
Here’s the complete setlist exclusive to Rock Band 4:
.38 Special – “Caught Up In You”
Arctic Monkeys – “Arabella”
The Both – “Milwaukee”
Cake – “Short Skirt/Long Jacket”
Little Big Town – “Little White Church”
Lucius – “Turn It Around”
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – “The Impression That I Get”
The Protomen – “Light Up The Night”
Soundgarden – “Superunknown”
Tijuana Sweetheart – “Pistol Whipped”
