Nicki Minaj And Taylor Swift Officially Squashed Their Beef During A Joint MTV VMA Performance

It looks like the Nicki Minaj-Taylor Swift beef is officially over. Minaj kicked off the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards by performing “Trini Dem Girls” before switching over to “The Night Is Young,” during which she was joined by Swift in an iconic moment. Naturally, the performance transitioned over to Swift’s “Bad Blood,” ending with an embrace between two of the most powerful women in music.

Swift added to an already busy night, which saw the release of her latest music video, “Wildest Dreams,” during the VMA’s pre-show, as well as a splashy record carpet appearance with her “Bad Blood” squad.

As for Minaj, while this particular beef may be squashed, her reaction to VMAs host Miley Cyrus’ comments in a recent New York Times interview made it clear she was ready to go to war.

After receiving her award for Best Hip-Hop Music Video, she spat, “And now back to this b*tch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good?”

Cyrus, taken aback by what appeared to have been an unscripted moment, stumbled across her words and claimed, “we all know how they [journalists] manipulate [quotes].” The fireworks have only begun. Stayed tuned.
