In the Game of Thrones season five finale, Daenerys was surrounded by a Dothraki horde. Will they be friendly to Khaleesi (most likely not)? Will they tear her apart (unlikely)? Will they get charred by her dragon (probably!)?
We’ll have to wait until next year to find out. Meanwhile, over the weekend, the Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke, reunited with a far-more-friendly Dothraki: Khal Drogo. Clarke and Jason Momoa met up during Paris Fashion Week, and acted like an adorable couple who hadn’t been assigned to the other by a creepy, power-hungry, golden-crowned brother.
Clarke wrote on Instagram, “Well, I guess the sun rises in the West and sets in the East, then,” referring to something Daenerys told Drogo before he died in season one. “When the sun rises in the West and sets in the East,” she cried, “then you shall return to me, my sun and stars. And also, what do you think of my comically large hat?”
Aquaman had some fun with captions, too, calling Clarke “Khaleesi” multiple times, and later writing, “Really sorry I trusted you. Thanks for killing me. I’d do it again, though. That look my Khaleesi… p.s. I f*cking pillow. #hahahahahaha #ohwell #comingbackasaf*ckingdragon.”
Even those around Clarke are killing it in the hashtag department.
