What’s On Tonight: ‘Houdini & Doyle’ Premieres And ‘NCIS: LA’ Wraps Up Its Season

Houdini & Doyle (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) — What if famed illusionist Harry Houdini and author Arthur Conan Doyle teamed up to solve supernatural crimes back in the day? It might look something like this new drama from Fox which premieres tonight. The season opener sees the duo investigating a nun’s murder in a famous laundromat.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — In the season seven finale, Sam’s son’s military school is taken over by an extremist group led by Sam’s arch nemesis, so of course the team must head north to apprehend the terrorist and save the hostages.

NBA Playoff: Game 1: Hawks at Cavaliers (TNT, 7:00 p.m.) — Game 1 of an Eastern Conference semifinal series sees Atlanta taking on Cleveland.

E! Live From the Red Carpet : The 2016 Met Gala (E!, 7:30 p.m.) — It’s the first Monday in May, which means a ton of celebrities are going to dress up and go to a museum because Anna Wintour told them to.

Dancing With the Stars (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) — The contestants perform dances to songs by musical icons as two teams are sent packing.

Gotham (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) — Things get strange tonight (as in Professor Strange) when Gordon and Bruce interrogate the guy about Project Chimera, which prompts him to send the freshly resurrected Galavan to confront our favorite detective.

Mike & Molly (CBS, 8:00/8:30 p.m.) — Vince bails on a home improvement project he planned, which seriously pisses Mike off. Later, Molly invites a pregnant stranger living on the street into the couple’s home.

Reign (CW, 8:00 p.m.) — Mary and Gideon grow closer as the Queen plans to head home to Scotland. In England, Elizabeth joins forces with an unlikely ally, Lola.

The Voice (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — The Top 10 artists perform live tonight.

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8:00 p.m.) — We deal with the aftermath of WWE Payback and that Roman Reigns title fight.

12 Monkeys (Syfy, 9:00 p.m.) — Cole and Cassie are still at each other’s throats, but that doesn’t stop them from embarking on their first time travel mission together. They’re heading to New York at the height of World War II to hunt a dangerous and seductive member of the Twelve.

Bates Motel (A&E, 9:00 p.m.) — Norman realizes how much has changed since he left town as Norma struggles choosing between her boyfriend (Romero) and her psycho-killing offspring.

Jane the Virgin (CW, 9:00 p.m.) — Petra hosts a brunch for Mother’s Day which puts the Villanueva ladies’ usual plans on hold and Jane’s TA position is threatened.

The Detour (TBS, 9:00 p.m.) — The family stops at a Southern B&B so the kids can recover from their latest bout of food poisoning.

The Odd Couple (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) — Oscar tries to impress Charlotte by lying to her about his musical preferences.

Turn: Washington’s Spies (AMC, 10:00 p.m.) — When Abe’s cover is blown, Anna tries to save the ring and Benedict Arnold tries to save his own ass.

Blindspot (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) — Jane and Weller grow close again as a mysterious girl with links to terrorism pays a visit to the FBI.

Damien (A&E, 10:00 p.m.) — Simone uses Veronica to get close to Rutledge.
