The Hip-Hop Illuminati, Including Kanye And Questlove, Are Going To Be On ‘The Cleveland Show’

There are certain questions that even I, guy who writes about boobs and Morrissey on the Internet, cannot answer. Why are we here? Is God real? Why do people prefer cats over dogs? Why am I still watching The Cleveland Show? That last one’s the most baffling because, seriously? I am?

It’s actually not that bad, I swear, which is to say it’s better than Family Guy but not as good as American Dad! It’s carved itself a nice little universe. Cleveland Jr. is wonderful, and hey, it had David Lynch before Louie, as a bartender no less. But even if you have no intention of ever watching a show based around Family Guy‘s 29th funniest character — I understand — you might want to check out the upcoming hip-hop Illuminati episode.

On the Fox animated comedy’s Season 4 premiere (Sunday, Oct. 21 at 7:30/6:30c), fittingly titled “Menace II Secret Society,” Cleveland discovers a secret hip-hop society headed by Kanye West. (Cleveland makes the discovery after confronting Kanye for not sharing credit for the megahit they created together, “Be-Cleve in Yourself.”)

Members of this “Hip Hop Illuminati” include Bruno Mars, will.i.am, American Idol judge Nicki Minaj and ?uestlove, all of whom lend their voices to the episode. (Via)

Here’s another unknowable question: WILL.I.AM??? We’re closer to solving the God thing than answering why he’s so inexplicably popular.
