There’s something you should know about Stiff Bull Coffee, the new and energizing drink that will allow any man’s junk to stand at attention for up to three days: Your penis problems may be solved by the drink’s proprietary blend of herbs and spices, but taking that chance might also do you grievous bodily harm. (Not because of all the sex you’ll be having, though, so please stop getting excited.)
Grubstreet reports that the coffee, which is “enhanced” by the “herbs of Malaysia” has recently come under fire by the FDA, which respects your desire to “maintain an active relationship” but warns that drinking this particular brand of coffee may lead to a trip to the ER if you’re taking certain medications:
Laboratory testing done by the agency confirmed the coffee contained an unlisted ingredient in desmethyl carbodenafil, which is similar to the active ingredient, sildenafil, used in Viagra. Problematically for consumers, desmethyl carbodenafil may interact with nitrates, which are found in certain prescription drugs and taken by men with diabetes, heart disease, and other conditions.
The FDA warns that aside from all those interactions, the coffee may also drop your blood pressure to perilously low levels, turning an ordinary sexual adventure into something far more dangerous. You may remember that Lamar Odom was taking sexual supplements with similar FDA warnings when he was discovered in a coma in a Nevada brothel last year.
We reached Stiff Bull’s President, Keith Hanson, via telephone for comment. Hanson stated that, there’s no danger in drinking Stiff Bull, that it won’t cause heart attacks, and that even if you have high blood pressure or diabetes you can drink it safely. That’s not because he doesn’t agree with the FDA, but because he insists that the desmethyl carbodenafil found during testing was never meant to be in the coffee. Hanson says that trace elements of the “hidden” ingredient were found due to a manufacturer not cleaning their machines properly between different products. He confirmed that he cut ties with that company and is currently appealing the FDA ruling.
So should you buy the coffee? That depends on you, your current relationship with your penis, caffeine, and your trust for those buzzkills at the FDA.
