The Detroit Pistons drafted Tony Mitchell with the No. 7 pick in the second round (37th overall) for his athleticism. He wowed at the rookie photo shoot with dunks that made us stop in our tracks. The 39-year-old Rasheed Wallace just retired for the second time this past summer before becoming an assistant coach in Detroit. Both men had a dunk contest after practice the other day.
Andre Drummond took a Vine of said contest. Mitchell threw down a two-handed windmill reverse that showcased the incredible leaping ability of the 6-8 rookie. The look on Sheed’s face after his “dunk,” was more priceless, though. We hope Rasheed wins Coach of the Year at some point.
Who do you think won the contest?
