NBC Releases Their New Look Fall 2013 Schedule, Delays ‘Community’

Were it up to NBC, they’d air nothing but three-hour blocks of The Voice and Sunday Night Football every night all year ’round, with guest appearances from Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Robert Griffin III on Parks and Recreation, for credibility’s sake. Unfortunately for the Peacock, that’s impossible (believe me, they’ve tried; it’s tough finding an inexpensive cloning machine big enough for Cee Lo Green and all his birds), so they have to fill out the rest of their pesky, nobody-watches-anyway-so-why-not-throw-sh*t-at-the-wall schedule.

A short time ago, via Vulture, NBC announced their fall 2013 schedule, which looks very different than it did last year, including Parks and Recreation and Parenthood on Thursday nights at 8 and 10 p.m. (with newcomers Welcome to the Family, Victor Fresco’s Sean Saves the World, and the highly anticipated The Michael J. Fox Show between them), Revolution on Wednesdays, and J.J. Abrams’s Believe, About a Boy, and Gillian Anderson’s Crisis during midseason, after the Olympics. Some things remain the same, though: no Community.
