It seems like it was only a little more than a year ago that McKayla Maroney and the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team – AKA “The Fierce Five” – captured the hearts of millions of Americans by winning the overall team gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics, but time goes on and our teen idols eventually grow up. In fact, Maroney will celebrate her birthday on December 9, and she was kind enough to remind her 473,000+ followers about the countdown in case they wanted to send her their best wishes.
Of course, with the way that she put it, I’ve got a feeling that a lot of those wishes are going to be of the perverted variety.
And sure enough, it didn’t take very long for the “legal” Tweets to come rolling in…
I’m positive they’ll only get better as McKayla’s big day gets closer.
