Glenn Robinson III is considered to be something of a fringe player for the Indiana Pacers, but the former Michigan forward and son of NBA All-Star Glenn Robinson put on a show with a highlight dunk on Friday evening. Robinson III took a flawless lob pass from Monta Ellis on the fast break and finished the alley-oop dunk on top of 2016 lottery pick Marquese Chriss in thunderous fashion.
In ten appearances prior to Friday night, Robinson III was averaging only 10.6 minutes and 3.4 points per game, but with athleticism like this, it is easy to see why the Pacers would invest in his potentially bright future. In the meantime, somebody get Phoenix’s rookie forward a helmet.
