An attacked occurred on the campus of Ohio State on Monday morning. The first reports hit around 9:30 a.m. ET with news that there was an active shooter situation. It was later learned that the attacker used a knife, not a gun, and he was killed by police. Eight people have been hospitalized. These incidents transcend all types of boundaries and people from across the sports world reached out with positive words along with thoughts and prayers.
LeBron James grew up in Akron, plays in Cleveland and was on Ohio State’s campus Saturday for the football team’ game against Michigan, so he didn’t hesitate to tweet.
