Thoughts have been running wild in anticipation for something to happen regarding Radiohead’s upcoming 20 year anniversary of the release of their iconic record OK Computer. Now, a slew of peculiar OK Computer-inspired posters have popped up in many different metropolitan hubs around the world, including Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York, and London, that are causing theories to arise about the anniversary amongst Radiohead’s extensive and committed fanbase.

Unsurprisingly, Reddit users have jumped on the news of these strange posters, which feature lyrics related to Radiohead’s “Fitter Happier,” and created a whole SubReddit rampant with rumors and theories about the 20th anniversary.

Radiohead’s OK Computer first came out on May 21, 1997. As we approach the 20th anniversary, are these posters teasing at a potential Radiohead show or event next month in remembrance of the record?

Adding to the hype, a mysterious Instagram post from Stanley Donwood, the artist behind Radiohead’s album artwork and posters, popped up a while ago. He doesn’t explicitly say anything about Radiohead, but the post clearly hints at the band and creates even more excitement with the caption “soon to be real.” See this post and some more of the speculation widespread across social media below.
