Weekend Preview: Melissa McCarthy Is Here To Do Her Best Sean Spicer On ‘SNL’

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturday 11:30 p.m.) – Melissa McCarthy is back to host and piss off the Trump administration. Expect to see plenty of Spicey action – apparently she’s been riding around New York City on a motorized podium dressed as the Press Secretary – and a performance by Haim.

Once Upon a Time (ABC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) – The season six finale sees Henry waking up to a world where Storybrooke is under the control of the Black Fairy, Emma is in a mental hospital, and Snow, Charming, Regina, Zelena, and Hook are trapped in a crumbling Fairy Tale Land.

First Dates (NBC, Friday 8:00 p.m.) – One couple bonds over their love of science fiction while another pair of White Sox fans hit it off.

The Originals (CW, Friday 8:00 p.m.) – Davina makes her return tonight when Hayley and Klaus are forced to travel to the ancestral world to find out how to stop The Hollow.

The Toy Box (ABC, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — Inventions include a candy press, a doll with curly hair, and a simple game with a nostalgic feel.

Undercover Boss (CBS, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — Country singer Darius Rucker travels to Austin, Texas, on an undercover journey to discover the next great musical acts. During his time undercover, Darius runs an open mic night, works as a roadie and strolls along Austin’s famous Sixth Street in search of standout street performers. Not really sure how this qualifies as an Undercover Boss episode but what the hell, why not?

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS, Friday 8:00 p.m.) – In the season seven finale, the team try to rescue young girls being sex-trafficked and McGarrett risks his life in order to get them to safety.

Reign (CW, Friday 9:00 p.m.) – Interesting fun fact: According to the CW, Scotland has earthquakes and when one hits, Mary faces dissent from her people for not doing enough to help.

Shark Tank (ABC, Friday 9:00 p.m.) – Season eight ends with a male model demonstrating how a franchised art studio works, two men showcasing a futuristic version of a notebook that sends writing wirelessly, a pair of entrepreneurs capitalizing on the desire to attract a mate with haircare products infused with pheromones, and a divorced mom showing the Sharks how brides can bag up their wedding gowns so they can use the bathroom on their own.

Doctor Who (BBC, Saturday 9:00 p.m.) – When the Doctor and Bill get stuck in a spaceship, their forced to fight their way out and battle killer spacesuits.

The Son (AMC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Young Eli must navigate tribal politics in 1849. In 1915, a crisis forces Pete and Sally into a decision that will change the family forever.

Little Big Shots (NBC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) – Tiny performers include two young tango dancers, a unicyclist and juggler, a singer, a memory expert, and a four-year-old viral sensation.

Miss USA Pageant (Fox, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Julianne Hough is hosting the 66th annual competition from Las Vegas.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) – Season eight ends with Sam going rogue in order to stop Tahir Khaled from targeting his family again.

The White Princess (Starz, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) – Lizzie battle’s her mother’s defiance as Henry fights for his crown when a young boy in Burgundy appears, claiming to be the true heir to the throne.

American Gods (Starz, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – Shadow questions his loyalty to Mr. Wednesday when he learns the god wants to rob a bank and he’s treated to a surprise when he returns to the motel.

Chicago Justice (NBC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – When a crane collapses at a construction site, killing the son of a wealthy real estate developer, the team discover the break down wasn’t an accident and the developer has made a few dangerous enemies.

Madam Secretary (CBS, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — As Elizabeth and President Dalton head to Rome for the G20 Conference, she is concerned for Henry’s safety when he is sent to Israel to intercept the doomsday cult’s bio-weapon before it is deployed.

The Leftovers (HBO, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – Matt travels to Australia to bring Kevin home after he convinces himself that he needs to be in Miracle for the anniversary of the Departure.

Elementary (CBS, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Holmes and Watson investigate a murder that puts them in the crosshairs of one of New York City’s deadliest gangs.
