It’s been a big few weeks in the Marvel universe.
Avengers: Endgame is one of the biggest movies of all time, achieving critical acclaim and a whole lot of praise for the way it tied a bow on the beloved series of films. However, a new scandal involving a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has cast a dark cloud on a once-adored member of The Avengers.
In a clip from the Philippine Basketball Association, Spider-Man (real name Peter Parker, a young man from New York City) runs onto the court and body checks a player mid-game. Here is the shocking footage, which occurred during Game 5 of the PBA Philippine Cup finals, per Inquirer.net.
A man dressed as Spiderman ran onto the court and hit June Mar Fajardo on the jaw before getting tackled by venue security.

Spider-Man, reportedly toting a “vote love!” sign, collided with June Mar Fajardo, the superstar center for San Miguel Beermen. According to his coach, Leo Austria, Fajardo was hit in the jaw during the collision, which led to him being a bit groggy as his side fell to Magnolia Hotshots, 88-86. The loss put San Miguel in a precarious position, as it faces a 3-2 deficit in the Best of 7 series.
It is unclear whether this is the real Spider-Man or if it is merely an imposter dressed in a Spider-Man costume. Regardless, the perpetrator was taken to a police station following the incident.
