As soon as Firefly Fun House debuted last month on Raw, featuring a sweater-wearing Bray Wyatt as host of an upbeat kids’ show, it was easy to guess that things would get a lot darker down the road. Bray’s best known as the vaguely satanic leader of a backwoods cult, after all, and it’s been clear all along that the Bray hosting these segments is that same character, trying to put darkness behind him and be a better person. That sublimated darkness came out in a big way last week, when Mercy the Buzzard ate Ramblin’ Rabbit. Now there seem to be some hints that something big is going on in the Fun House tonight, which will air as part of the tape-delayed episode of Raw from London.
First WrestleVotes, a twitter account known for getting some backstage stuff right, had this to say:
One of the only things to look forwards to on tonight’s show… The Fire Fly Funhouse takes a darker turn. It’s going to catch people off guard. In a good way.

Then Bray Wyatt himself tweeted that tonight is a special edition, and used the hashtag #secrettime.
I hope you enjoy tonights special #FireFlyFunHouse
I have been dying to show you#SecretTime

So what’s going to happen on Firefly Fun House tonight? Will Mercy turn on Abby the Witch for more puppet-on-puppet carnage? Will the puppets gang up on Bray? Will Bray reveal whose souls are inside those puppets? Will another human performer get involved, opening up the possibility of an actual wrestling match? Whatever you think of Firefly Fun House, it seems a little soon for Bray to go back to his old gimmick, which let’s be honest had gotten a bit stale before his recent hiatus. So hopefully there are more chapters that come between this and that, and if we’re lucky maybe WWE even has a plan.
