Was UCLA’s Game-Winner Over SMU A Goaltend Or Not?

UCLA won its opening round NCAA Tournament game over SMU in one of the more controversial ways a team can win an NCAA Tournament game: on a goaltending call. The Bruins trailed by two, and Bryce Alford hoisted up a three. It was near the rim and looked to be touched by the SMU defender, and the official saw enough to call it goaltending.

But is it? The announcers talked themselves into it. Twitter was unsure. Even NBA stars weighed in.

Some of us at UPROXX are still unconvinced. So we want you to decide. Was the final shot by UCLA (and the ultimate game winner) goaltending or nah?
