Kemba Walker Burns Aaron Brooks Twice, Then Freezes Taj Gibson On The Next Possession

The Hornets fell to the Bulls last night, 98-86, but Kemba Walker did his part for Charlotte with 29 points (11/24) in 34 minutes. His most electrifying moments came inside of 10 minutes left in the third quarter when he shook Aaron Brooks twice before nailing the step-back J over Pau Gasol.

On the very next possession, he had Taj Gibson in concrete with a gorgeous hesitation, inside-out move for the layup.

Damn.

Too bad Nikola Mirotic stepped up down the stretch with 14 of his team-high 28 points in the fourth for the win. Kemba’s stung Nikola before, but only embarrassed Taj and Brooks last night.
