Michigan was going to show students a screening of American Sniper on campus, but then people petitioned for Michigan to not show students a screening of American Sniper on campus. So Michigan canceled the screening of American Sniper. And then Michigan canceled the original decision to cancel the screening of American Sniper. So now Michigan is showing students a screening of American Sniper on campus.
None of this mattered to Jim Harbaugh, the school’s new football coach. He was going to have his football team watch American Sniper anyway.
