Just in case you hadn’t noticed, Jack White has been touring the country this month with his super-small-and-secret acoustic series. Shows aren’t announced until the day of, and tickets run for $3 per person until all are sold. Buyers can only purchase tickets for themselves. Well the final concert of the series is tonight in Fargo, N.D.
Not in North Dakota? No problem if you’re a Tidal subscriber. According to Billboard:
To commemorate the occasion, the Fargo concert will begin streaming in full tonight at 8:30 p.m. CST to Tidal users.
The show will replay once after the live broadcast and be available on-demand through Tidal at a later date, according to a news release.
Maybe the artist-run subscription service truly is doing just fine, as Jay Z tweeted earlier today. Despite the guacamole controversy, White’s acoustic shows have been generating a lot of positive buzz for the musician and record store entrepreneur. Tonight’s live stream just might give Tidal a much-needed boost.
