Former Olympic decathlete Bryan Clay (who won gold in the 2008 Olympics) doesn’t compete anymore — his Twitter bio says he’s a motivational speaker now — so one can imagine he doesn’t have as much use for his javelin as he once did. And, like many people who are incredibly skilled at something that has nothing to do with their daily lives, he’s itching to find an excuse to show off. We understand, and we approve of this application.
Have you ever had a loose tooth that you couldn’t quite get out? If you did, your parents might have tied some string around a doorknob and the tooth, and tried to slam the door. That works pretty well, but not perfectly. It seems a javelin, if you know how to handle it, has a much better chance of success. And we know that thanks to Bryan Clay and his adorable daughter. And if you’re worried about whether they found that tiny tooth in a large field, worry not:
Oh no, don't worry, the tooth is safely under her pillow! :) https://t.co/bHDN29pUpd
