Despite Ann Coulter expressing very public qualms about Donald Trump potentially “softening” his immigration stance — and even threatening to cancel the book tour for her pro-Trump opus, In Trump We Trust, if he continues to soften his rhetoric — Coulter will continue to “worship” the Republican presidential nominee.
In an interview with Bloomberg reporter Joshua Green, bits of which he leaked on Twitter, Coulter compared her “blind loyalty” for Trump to that of Kim Jung-un’s subjects. “My worship for him is like the people of North Korea worship their Dear Leader — blind loyalty,” she told Green. “Once he gave that Mexican rapist speech, I’ll walk across glass for him. That’s basically it.”
She added, “Unlike the crazy Cruz supporters, I’ll criticize him, and I have, but it’s all minor stylistic stuff. We all want to shoot him at various times.”
Talked to Coulter last night. She isn't about to jump off the Trump train: compared him (favorably!) to Kim Jong-un pic.twitter.com/WpVEOBjDhB

FWIW, Coulter pre-rejects Clinton's "alt-right" speech as "insane guilt by association with some witty millennials on Twitter."

Coulter has previously called Trump “mental” and likened dealing with him to “constantly having to bail out your sixteen-year-old son from prison.” She’s also said that his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, will be a “combo platter of disaster” and would be unable to pass the “IQ test Walmart uses for clerks.” Despite her critiques, Coulter will always go to bat for her man — when Ted Cruz failed to endorse Trump at the Republican National Convention last month, she called him a “little b*tch who can’t get over it.”
