By now you’re probably familiar with a really well-drawn nude portrait of Donald Trump that depicts the GOP presidential candidate with tiny genitalia. That picture was gifted to the world by artist Illma Gore, who later auctioned the original copy for charity, and also later claimed she was punched in the face by a Trump supporter in Los Angeles. Still, despite death threats, she has stuck to her anti-Trump message and even made videos to teach aspiring artists how to channel their rage into drawing Trump’s penis. Art is everything, and everything is art.
At least one anarchist group has been inspired by Gore’s original artwork, it seems, as people have been freaking out over a nude Trump statue in New York City’s Union Square. That statue is hardly the only work of art, as the Washington Post claims that naked Trump has also appeared in San Francisco, Cleveland, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
As for the NYC “tribute,” NowThis reports that the statue has been at the location for some time now, and no one seems to be interested in removing it. (Obviously, when I say nude I mean that you’re going to see some statue wang, so take that into account as you scroll down.)
As this Patch video reveals, the plaque at the base of the statue bears the phrase: “The emperor has no balls.”

It is signed by Indecline, which posted this video of the making of the statue earlier this week.
Indecline previously made headlines with the “Biggest Piece of Illegal Graffiti in the World,” as the group claims to be an “underground movement” of “activists, musicians, graffiti writers, [and] photographers,” according to Vice. More notably, Indecline created the controversial Bumfights. The reason for this latest endeavor is steeped in historical significance.
“Like it or not, Trump is a larger-than-life figure in world culture at the moment,” said the spokesman, who discussed the project with The Washington Post on the condition of anonymity. “Looking back in history, that’s how those figures were memorialized and idolized in their time — with statues.” (Via WaPo)
I’m not quite sure this version of Trump will be idolized by anyone, but it sure has people laughing.
the crowds are mounting. Two nypd officers just came, looked, smirked, and left. pic.twitter.com/xDC6Yn1rzw
