The Obamas visited the UK for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday (wow, that’s really nice of them). Since President Obama came all the way from the other side of the Atlantic, one of the royal family’s newest additions, the two-year-old Prince George, deigned to stay up past his bedtime to meet with him on Friday.
According to Mashable, the little prince donned a dapper white bathrobe to meet President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Prince George was accompanied by his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and stayed up past his bedtime by 15 minutes for this historic summit. Look at this little diplomat, already making sacrifices in order to accommodate his country’s allies!
Kensington Palace’s twitter account has released pictures of this historic visit.

Look at how much the little tyke commands! Obama has to get down to his level to greet him.

The little prince also sat on the rocking horse that the Obamas had given him when he was born. How much do you think he uses that toy when they’re not around?
President Obama has a well-documented way with kids, as the Twitter hashtag #ObamaAndKids proves.
The White House is happy to have this social media opportunity, I’m sure.
