‘Games Of Thrones’ Star Kit Harington May Be Respawning In The Next ‘Call Of Duty’ Game

Poor Jon Snow has been through a lot on Game of Thrones, so it’s understandable that the guy might want to take a little break from the Westeros drama to do some mindless shooting. Yes, rumor has it Kit Harington will be one of the stars of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The speculation is based on a video making the rounds showing Harington being wheeled into a high-tech motion capture rig. Where precisely this video came from remains mysterious. Mashable, who were the first to post the footage, aren’t elaborating on the video’s source. So, why do people think the video points to Harington being in Call of Duty? Lots of things require motion capture these days!

Well, because the exact rig we see Harington being wheeled into has been used for Call of Duty in the past. Here’s NFL star Marshawn Lynch being scanned by a very similar setup for last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

It wouldn’t be shocking if Harington was in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as the series has featured everybody from Bruce Campbell to Kevin Spacey before. Infinite Warfare could also use some help from somebody as popular with the kids as Harington because the game’s trailer is currently the second-most disliked YouTube video ever. For context, it has over three times as many dislikes as the first Ghostbusters trailer. Yikes.

Of course, none of this has been confirmed, but just because Jon Snow knows nothing now, doesn’t mean there’s not something in the works. Expect more information at next week’s E3.
