Nintendo just held what it claims will be its final video presentation for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, and they certainly didn’t hold back any information. If you have around half-an-hour to spare, you can watch the entire presentation above.
The biggest news is that the sexy hair clothes-wearing witch Bayonetta will be joining the Smash Bros. fray. Nintendo published the last Bayonetta game, so there was some hope she’d join Smash Bros., but most assumed it wouldn’t happen due to the Bayonetta series’ rather risque content (Bayonetta is the first character from an M-rated game to appear in Smash Bros). Bayonetta will be released February 2016 at a cost of $6.
We also got another look at Cloud from Final Fantasy VII in Smash Bros., including his summons-filled stage. Cloud will be released later today and costs $6.
Finally, Corrin, the lead character from Fire Emblem: Fates (which has yet to be released in America), will also be coming to the game. The character arrives this coming February and will cost 5 bucks.
And, unfortunately, that’s the end of the new characters for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. I guess Nintendo has to get Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai toiling away on the Nintendo NX version.
