Unlike past games in the series, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is all about giving players the freedom to tackle challenges in their own way. In order to highlight this, Hideo Kojima and Konami are giving gamers another look at the E3 demo for Metal Gear Solid V.
We’ve already shown you footage of this demo, but the mission this time around is tackled in a completely different way. Now, your doggy pal is replaced with sexy thong-clad human sniper Quiet (an interesting upgrade), and there’s also all sorts of messing around with cardboard boxes for your Metal Gear Solid veterans.
The game’s looking good, although I wish I could bring more than one “buddy” with me on a mission. I want to set up a lawn chair and just watch as Diamond Dog, Quiet and my horse finish the mission for me.
