The release date for Captain America: Civil War is nearly here, so of course that means your TV is about to be flooded with Civil War spots, each featuring a few brief shreds of new footage. This period between the final trailer and a movie’s release when the studios try to keep us going with bread-and-water bits of footage is always rough, but we’ll get through it together.
First up, we have a brand new TV spot. Most of it is footage we’ve seen before in some form, although the final moments serve up a tantalizing flash of Captain America taking on Black Panther. Marvel has really done nice work with the Black Panther costume, so let’s hope the guy actually gets some cool spotlight moments. A showdown with Cap would certainly qualify.
