It appears that Travis Scott might just be on the verge of releasing some new music in the not-too-distant future. Earlier today, La Flame posted up a photo of himself to social media dangling a Megaman action figure. In the caption he threw in two CD emojis and the word, “Soon.”
Is it much to go on? No, not really. But the promise that he has some fresh tracks ready to share with his hungry, balcony-leaping fan base surely has to instill a high degree of excitement. Just a few days back, he stoked the fires and the speculation higher when he announced during one of his shows that he was , “‘Bout to drop music in a few days. ‘Bout to go crazy for a few days.”

In an interview last year with GQ, Travis revealed that his next album is going to be called Astroworld. He named after a long-gone amusement park in his hometown of Houston. “It might be the best music that I made,” he said. “I have two records on the album that are like, man, they are the best. They tore down ‘AstroWorld’ to build more apartment space. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”
