We here in America think we’re hot stuff, sticking hamburger patties between deep fried Twinkies and glazed doughnuts. Turns out, we might not be so special. Obese, sure. But special? Nah. Looks like Japan’s got us beat on this one.
Their burger is called the “Zenbu Nose Burger,” which translates to “Everything Burger,” and is set to hit the menus at Japan’s popular fast food chain Lotteria on April 28. And yeah, between its two buns, it’s got everything: a soft-boiled egg, both a hamburger and a cheeseburger patty, fried shrimp, cheese, bacon, and an entire freaking rib. And don’t forget those toppings: mayonnaise, spicy mayonnaise, tartar sauce, meat sauce, teriyaki sauce, ketchup, lettuce, cabbage, tomato, onions, and pickles. Something for everyone!
It’s actually not the first time Lotteria has released an Everything Burger—this year’s version is an updated take on a burger that was available in 2013.
How much will the burger set you back, aside from a trip out to Japan to get it before it disappears on the 31st of May? Just 1,350 yen—roughly $12.50. For a calorie bomb that sounds like it will see you through to the next day, the price seems fairly reasonable.
