Are you one of the many Sriracha enthusiasts that are unable to quench your desire for delicious spiciness on everything you eat, wherever you eat? When you tear open a ketchup packet and squeeze the contents out, does the sweet tomato flavor wash over you like a wave of depression made from concentrate? Your kingdom for Sriracha, but there’s just no way to deliver it to your mouth in an efficient and reliable way… Good news has come. Sriracha single serve packets are here. Life makes a little more sense now. Naturally, people are really pleased with this news:

It’s obvious that the final step toward the singularity has manifested itself in Sriracha single serve packets. Made by the same company that made the keychain mini-bottles of Sriracha (that I have tried and rejected), you can now order a 50 pack for $14.99, or you could nab a box of 200 for $34.99. That means for less than $20 you can make it rain with Sriracha packets, which is the second best way to experience Sriracha.
But, there’s a dark side to this news. Fans of Sriracha typically like to drench their meal in the sauce. You would think that these packets are meant only for the desperate, and for those that just need a little taste to keep them going throughout the day. The office is tough on a Tuesday morning. Go to the bathroom and squeeze out a little bump on your hand, your brain tells you. Just take it down then head back to work with a renewed pep… Yeah. Just a little taste…
And there’s the whole Sriracha shortage thing. Maybe this is Huy Fong Foods’ way of artificially shorting their consumers. These packets will keep the sauce splurts in check, and innocent french fries will no longer drown in a pool of spicy sorrow.
Or it’s just awesome and super convenient for everyone.
