The most cumbersomely titled of movie franchises comes to an end on November 20 with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. The first part (which should’ve been the only part) ended with Peeta jacked up on tracker jacker venom, the resolution to which the new trailer ruins.
SPOILER: He brutally murders Katniss and gets really into the Outfield, as one does.
What actually happens in Part 2 is Katniss attempts to liberate the citizens of Panem and assassinate President Snow. Jeez, what a rough year for guys with the last name Snow, though I’m guessing no one’s hoping this Snow #Lives. Also, Jennifer Lawrence wears a red outfit at some point, and Game of Thrones‘ Gwendoline Christie appears as a commander who assists the rebels. Good choice. We already know she doesn’t respect authority figures.
