Jimmy Fallon brought back the internet-inspired acapella segment to The Tonight Show, but it featured a little bit of a twist this time around. Instead of having all-star musicians or Miley Cyrus around for a song, Fallon brought in the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens to join himself and The Roots for an acapella version of some Star Wars tunes.
Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Adam Driver all show up to bop their way through John Williams’ classic score, including a segment with the classic Cantina music featuring the trio of droids from the films and a very confused Chewbacca. Carrie Fisher pops in too and Gwendoline Christie is surrounded by The Roots in stormtrooper armor. Not bad for something that is normally annoying as hell.
The entire group comes together for the finale and it turns out to be a fun little piece to dive into opening day at the end of the week (and to hell with all of your people who have seen it already).
