Apparently Chance The Rapper felt like Pablo during the first show of his 2017 tour. The Chicago star hit the stage at San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center on Monday night and delighted the crowd with a mind-blowing array of tracks from his three mixtapes 10 Day, Acid Rap and Coloring Book, but also some cuts from his mentor Kanye West’s most recent album The Life Of Pablo.
There’s was “Ultralight Beam,” of course, but Chance also took it upon himself to perform his own version of the Chris Brown-featured standout “Waves.” Chance shared the demo for that song during his interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 last year. Then, to make it a trifecta, he also busted out “Father Stretch My Hands.”
