The outpouring of love, support and appreciation for Lil Wayne following his supposed retirement announcement has been overwhelming to say the least. Without knowing any better, you would’ve thought Tunechi kicked the bucket and was being eulogized by fans, both famous and non-famous. Rightfully adding to all the love now is little bro Drake.
The Toronto superstar brought Lil Wayne out for the Houston stop of his Summer Sixteen tour Sunday night. Wayne performed his hit “A Mili” before continuing his screw Cash Money campaign. “I want you to know that I know them other n*ggas is f*cking me over right now,” Weezy said in reference to his contentious court battle with Birdman, “but I know I got a motherf*cking family in Rap-A-Lot outchea. So before I leave, I leave you with some kind words: F*ck Cash Money!”

Drake later shouted out his mentor some more on Instagram, making it known that he’s riding with Wayne til the very end.
The boss @liltunechi. We are fighting until you get yours. Freedom to drop music and peace of mind. I don’t know what these other weirdos are on with all the side talks but I know you gave me a shot and all I can ever do with the rest of my life is return the favor. YOUNG MONEY FOREVER.
The side-talking “weirdos” in this case is Chris Brown. Last week, Weezy brought out Breezy for his Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans and Chris thanked him with an Instagram post. The troubled singer called Wayne his favorite rapper while also sneak dissing Drake, writing, “If it wasn’t for [Wayne] a lot of these fake ass rappers wouldn’t get an opportunity. Real friends don’t depend on record sales or co-signs.”
Chris eventually deleted the IG post because popping ish on social media and quickly deleting stuff is kind of Chris’ thing.
