Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez dated, then they broke up. That’s what 20-somethings do, but these aren’t just any 20-somethings — they’re Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, and both of their fanbases are in denial. Granted, Bieber isn’t making this easy. The “Sorry” singer has said he’s not sure whether he’s “over it yet,” and told Ellen DeGeneres that “once we’ve figured ourselves out, we could maybe come together and make an awesome duo.” Bieber even recently uploaded this desperately creepy photo to Instagram.
Selena Gomez apparently doesn’t feel the same way.
During the Fresno stop of her current Revival Tour, the Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising star noticed a sign someone in the audience was holding. It read, “MARRY JUSTIN PLEASE.” Gomez asked for the paper, and this happened.

Can you blame her? I wouldn’t want to be reminded of the people I dated when I was younger, either. Granted, I never went out with an internationally famous pop star who’s worth millions, but the point remains. Gomez also debuted a new song during the tour. “Feel Me” features the lyrics: “No one loves you like I love you/I never cheated, never lied/I never put no one above you/I gave you space and time/And now you’re telling me you miss me/And I’m still on your mind/We were one in a million/Our love is hard to find.” There are some mixed messages happening between those lovebirds.
