At a performance in Houston on Wednesday night, Taylor Swift had an interesting post-show moment when a fire alarm started to go off while Swift was in her dressing room. From her account on Instagram (you might have heard, she’s kind of popular there), an alarm can be heard saying “all occupants must exit” while Swift appears to be a combination of scared, confused, and tired. Someone off camera tells her to “put some damn clothes on” to which Tay Tay responds, “I have clothes on, I have a robe on. This is clothes! I’m covered.”
The video, shot as an extreme close up of the “Shake It Off” singer’s face, looks like Swift was transplanted into a horror movie and someone just told her “I think someone’s in the house.” You can see the panic and confusion on her face, as if she had never had a fire alarm go off before. Shortly before the fire alarm goes off, Swift brought new squad member, Wiz Khalifa, on stage to perform his hit “See You Again.” While Wiz is no stranger to setting off fire alarms, hopefully Taylor’s team takes a moment to go through fire-evacuation procedures before her next tour stop.
