Following their team’s 27-14 loss to the Dolphins at Soldier Field on Sunday, which dropped their home record to 0-3 and their overall record to 3-4, the Bears locker room was reported to have become a bit of a mess with in-fighting, some lashing out at fans, and some bad injury news. Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall was particularly upset, allegedly yelling at kicker Robbie Gould to do his job and that he “just kicks the ball,” and called the overall play of the Bears’ offense “unacceptable.”
Offensive Guard Kyle Long was also upset after the game, but he saved most of his words for the fans who booed the team at halftime when they went into the locker room down 14-0.
“As somebody that is blood, sweat and tears in this locker room like the other guys, the coaches, the trainers, the staff and the equipment guys, to be getting booed at home when you’re walking off the field down two possessions is unacceptable — especially when there is not a lot of noise being made on third down [when Miami had the ball], period.”
It’s been my experience that in the history of sports, lashing out at fans has had a 0% success rate as a form of conflict resolution in a volatile locker room, but we’ll see how this develops.
Finally, late in the day on Sunday, it was learned that Kyle Fuller, the team’s starting rookie CB and quite possibly their best defensive player injured his hip and broke his hand.

Other than all that, everything is fine?
Ugly scene in #bears locker room right after game. Lots of yelling, players pulled out of room

Just got back from the #Bears locker room. Brandon Marshall said being 3-4 is unacceptable dozens of times. Kyle Long ripped the fans.

Kyle Long blames fans for not making enough noise on 3rd down defensive plays, and says they can't boo. This is quite a day for the #Bears.
