Let’s be honest — you knew this was coming. No fans take more joy in bad things happening to the New England Patriots than fans of the New York Jets. Whenever Jets fans get a chance to take a shot at their division rival, they take it, and they usually do it with a special brand of crazy devotion.
Twelve billboards popped up throughout New Jersey on Tuesday with the hashtag #TomShady on them. They’re green and white, and the bottom reads, “J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!”
According to the New York Daily News, this was done anonymously by a group of Jets fans, because as we know, billboards are the preferred way for Jets fans to send a message. Too bad Rex Ryan wasn’t still the coach of the Jets, because I would have bet every cent I’ve ever had that Rex Ryan was the guy behind these billboards.
