Lee Corso has carved out an impressive coaching career in his six decades of college football. It started back in 1958 as a graduate assistant at Florida State and continued into the 1980s with a 10-year stint as head coach of Indiana University. Corso had several stops in between including a short stint at Navy from 1966-1968.
On Saturday, College GameDay presented Corso with never before seen footage of his days as a Midshipmen. The four minute clip featured Corso talking about how much the Army-Navy game meant to him personally.
“If you could coach football one game in your whole life, if you coach the Army-Navy game you can get out of coaching.”
Unsurprisingly, Corso was moved to tears after the clip.
