With the city of Baltimore in peril this week due to riots stemming from the unexplained death of Freddie Gray, officials have imposed a citywide curfew of 10 p.m. every night for the remainder of this week. As a result, the Baltimore Ravens have decided it’s in their best interest to cancel their planned Thursday night NFL draft party.
“Out of respect to the curfew in Baltimore, the Ravens have cancelled their Draft Party, which was scheduled for this Thursday (4/30) night (7-11 p.m.) at M&T Bank Stadium,” the team said in a statement.
The Baltimore Orioles also postponed tonight’s game against the White Sox. It remains to be seen how the rest of their home games will be handled.
