Texas and Oregon State faced off Friday in one of the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship regional games. Already, the tournament is producing some spectacular plays. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Beavers’ shortstop Caleb Hamilton had what looked like a home run—until Longhorns’ center fielder Zane Gurwitz made a perfectly timed jump to snag the ball from going over the wall.
That, I believe, is what the kids call a robbery.
Oregon State did win 5-4, however.
