Hey, fight friends. It’s another solo weekend of just the UFC, but that’s fine by me, since UFC Fight Night 67 is a pretty solid card. Let’s take deeper look at the fights on this card.
SATURDAY
Fight Night 67, live from Goiania, Brazil, starts at 7:00 PM ET on Fight Pass with two bouts. Two undefeated fighters, England’s Tom “The Octopus” Breese and Brazil’s Ericka Almeida, who are both 7-0 will be making their octagon debuts as they take on Luiz Dutra and Juliana Lima, respectively.
The prelims continue on Fox Sports 1, starting at 8:00 PM ET with four fights. There are more undefeated fighters here, as Bosnia’s Mirsad Bektic puts his 9-0 record on the line against Lucas Martins in featherweight action, while Nicolas Dalby puts his 13-0 mark up against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in his UFC debut in the welterweight division. The best prelim fight, in terms of rankings, is the flyweight contest between #4 Jussier Formiga and #12 Wilson Reis.
The main card starts at 10:00 PM ET, also on Fox Sports 1, with six fights. Darren Till will make his UFC debut, as he brings a perfect 12-0 record up against Wendell Oliveira in welterweight action. The co-main and main events feature top ranked fighters facing off, as #8 Nik Lentz rematches #9 Charles Oliveira in a featherweight clash, with their previous bout ending in a no contest after an illegal knee by Oliveira. The main event sees #4 welterweight Carlos Condit returning from injury to face #12 fighter Thiago Alves.
This should be a very solid free card, so get excited and join us for a live discussion!
