Candy Crush Saga is more than just that game everyone on your Facebook timeline is playing. Recently, Activision Blizzard acquired the time waster for $5.9 billion, and with that money, they have big plans for the franchise. Among those plans will be a movie, because every recognizable entity is a movie idea these days. That’s just how these things work. Well, Stephen Colbert managed to score a clip of the film, which he also happens to be in.
Starring Liam Neeson as Mr. Toffee and Colbert as his son, the movie revolves around the father/son combo surviving their candy-coated surroundings by matching sweets, just like in the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like one of them will survive the scene. As always, the preview pretty much gives away the whole movie.
