Like the rest of us, Aaron Paul became super obsessed with Stranger Things this summer. However, unlike the rest of us, Paul was recently given the opportunity to interview Millie Bobby Brown who played “Eleven” on the Netflix series. Now you might think that Paul, an accomplished, Emmy-winning adult actor who starred in the critically-acclaimed series Breaking Bad, would be able to keep his cool while interviewing an up-and-coming child actress.
Ha ha, no. As Paul told Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night, “She’s 12 years old, and I was asked to interview her for Elle magazine, and… I was terrified.” The whole thing apparently came about after Paul “wrote a love letter” to series creators The Duffer Brothers on Twitter, and Elle reached out to him with the opportunity. When asked what Brown is like, Paul gushed, “She’s the best. She’s the best! But I was so terrified. She was on a family vacation in Spain, and I go, I gotta make this good. But she gets on the phone with her cute little accent, and she’s far more articulate than I, and I was terrified.”
Fallon also revealed that the four main kids are coming on the show next week, and Paul maybe only half-jokingly asked if he could come too. So in other words, don’t be surprised if Aaron Paul pops up with the child cast of Stranger Things on Fallon next week.
