Jim Carrey was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to promote Dumb and Dumber To. But before the traditional interview began, Carrey burned some of his seemingly endless supply of energy on Hollywood Boulevard. As they tend to do when Carrey is on his game, things went pleasantly off the rails.
The sequel to Dumb and Dumber (and the press tour to promote it) has spurred something of a revival for Carrey, who’s suddenly in the spotlight on a daily basis: his appearances on SNL, Letterman, and Howard Stern have made it feel like we stepped into a timewarp that dropped us back in the mid-’90s.
But the mid-’90s experience cannot be considered complete without the most omnipresent commodity of that era: THE BOWL CUT. So Carrey hit the streets during last night’s show, barber supplies (and pole!) in tow, and gave some fresh cuts to a few lucky fans. In his own charmingly insane way, of course.
