They’re alive! Even before the second season premieres in a few months, Netflix announced at the winter Television Critics Association tour that The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is getting a third season as well. This comes as good news to fans who can’t wait for more Pinot Noir sing-alongs and borderline inappropriate jokes about cults, kidnappings, and New Yorkers. According to TV Line and creator Tina Fey, here’s what will happen:
“In the upcoming episodes, Kimmy has to deal with ‘deeper emotional and life issues’ “
That could mean so many things as far as Kimmy and Titus’ friendship, her bond with Jane Krakowski’s Jaqueline Voorhes, and her coming to grips with the trial outcome of Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne. Or it could have something to do with a brand new challenge for Kimmy as she continues to navigate the craziness of New York City. Whatever the case, it’s bound to be hilarious and heartwarming all in one go. Plus, Tina will be back in front of the camera as well as behind the scenes!
Tina Fey once again acts in Season 2. Not as Marcia Clark or her wig, however. #TCA16 #UnbreakableKimmySchmidt pic.twitter.com/DOdM9ah3Qx
