Louie (FX, 10:30 p.m.) — Comedians are road warriors (but not of the Mad Max or WWE persuasions). In “The Road Part 1,” Louis C.K. heads out on tour where he’ll presumably speak embarrassingly about his children to entertain people who paid for tickets.
Between (Netflix, 8:30 p.m.) — In what sounds like a cross between The Leftovers and Kid Nation, Sam from Nickelodeon’s iCarly plays a pregnant high school senior living in a town where a virus killed all the old people. Also, it’s the first Netflix original series that Americans can’t binge watch. Between‘s six episodes will air one at a time on Netflix on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m.
Red Nose Day (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — The inaugural Red Nose Day on NBC will bring comedians, musicians and actors together to combat childhood poverty across the globe. Seth Meyers, David Duchovny and Jane Krakowski host as Jane Lynch, Kevin Nealon, Gina Rodriguez and a bunch of other stars stop by. Please remember to fulfill your obligation as a quality human being by pouring one out for Patch Adams.
NHL Playoffs (NBCSN, 8:00 p.m.) — Ducks at Blackhawks in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
Wayward Pines (FOX, 9:00 p.m.) — Come for the suspense, stay for the lecture on how we’re too reliant on technology and will lose the Robot Wars, probably. We learn why everyone in Wayward Pines has to answer their phones while Theresa and Ben head off for potato country in search of Ethan.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Cobie Smulders, Jay Larson and Jenny Zigrino on Conan; Arnold Schwarzenegger, Whitney Cummings and Gavin James on Corden; The Rock and Meghan Trainor on Fallon; No more Letterman (sad face).
